Site Information

A few things we would like you to know:

1. We consider that all information about yourself belongs to you. So far, we have only put on vital statistics such as birth information or information supplied by the family. If you don't want to have it on the site, just let us know, and we will remove it.

2. We're sure there are errors and omissions in the information we have collected. Please don't hesitate to correct it by sending us the right dates, names, and additions.

3. We really could use your help. If you have pictures, please scan them and send them along to me with some good notes, and we will make sure they get on the site. Although we would love to have the original documents to look at to enter the records, the climate where we live is not conducive to storing fragile paper. Please do not send originals, or we will lose sleep until we somehow get them back to you.

4. If you are also collecting family information on Family Tree Maker, or have created genealogical records in GedCom format and would like to share it, those formats are what we have been using. However, any copies of information in any format computerized, typed or handwritten, is greatly appreciated.

5. Stories would make our family site very special. If you have old letters, recountings, or anything that is written about anyone, please consider faxing it to me, or better yet, scan it. Also, this may be the time to dip the pen into your own inkpot, and write about yourself, your children and your fore bearers.

6. We would like any ideas that you have to make the site better, and welcome you to let us know what you think would be enjoyable, rewarding and fun for our family to have.

7. Please feel free to pass this message to any family member.

Meanwhile, please enjoy the site, and hopefully, this will help our families to know more about one another and to stay close.
